Survey123 Tutorial

This tutorial provides specific, technical information on how to use the ArcGIS Survey123 mobile app, the primary digital tool used by Fuel Relief Fund (FRF) in the field. FRF responders should complete this tutorial, including all exercises, prior to deploying to ensure they are properly prepared.

This content may change as Fuel Relief Fund (FRF) implements lessons learned in the field. An up-to-date guide is always available to our volunteers on our website at www.fuelrelieffund.org/training.

You may use a computer, tablet, or phone for most of the tutorial, but the exercises require a smart mobile device. To get the best understanding of how you will actually use Survey123 on a response mission, we recommend using your computer for the tutorial and following along with the instructions on your mobile device.

The tutorial may seem long and complicated at first, but that is because we have broken the surveys down into step-by-step instructions. The surveys themselves are designed to be intuitive so once you get comfortable using the app, filling out and submitting surveys will be easy to do.
