Fuel Relief

Nothing happens without fuel.

When disaster strikes, Fuel Relief Fund is first on the ground with fuel for the humanitarian response and the people affected by the disaster.

While OCHA’s support and standby agreement nearly guarantees the majority of funding for direct resources when disasters strike on a global level, and FRF is confident in its methods and drive to fulfill the mandate, FRF – completely board and volunteer run with only one staff member and limited cash flow and operating funds – needs to build its capacity to administer such a phenomenal responsibility and effectively partner with OCHA.  That capacity will simultaneously support FRF in meeting its goal to bolster its domestic and local relief efforts as well, as in the cases of Katrina and Superstorm Sandy.
