Oklahoma Tornadoes – May 2010

Tornadoes killed over 20 people in Oklahoma in May of 2010. Fuel Relief Fund distributed free fuel cards to the people who were seriously affected by the tornadoes and was able to help in the recovery process.

Fuel Relief Fund originated out of a quest to provide a basic fuel source for victims immediately following the devastation of a natural disaster.
In 1992, a board member of Fuel Relief Fund, was living on the west coast. Several of his family members lived in Florida and were victims of Hurricane Andrew’s destruction. Immediately following the hurricane, countless people found themselves unprepared and ill equipped to provide the basic essentials of life for their families. It was immediately evident that gasoline was one of those essentials!
