Fuel Relief Fund attended the Humanitarian Networks and Partnerships 2016 in Geneve
From 9 to 12 February 2015, the yearly meetings of the advisory groups of several emergency preparedness and response networks supported by OCHA’s Emergency Services Branch were held together for the first time. More than 400 representatives from Member States, regional organizations, the military, NGOs, UN agencies, the Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, and the private sector attended the first Humanitarian Networks and Partnerships Week.
The purpose of the event was to provide a platform for networks and partnerships to explore ways to strengthen their interoperability, and to improve their cooperation in areas of common interest.
During one of the many key sessions the Fuel Relief Fund was highlighted as on of the Humanitarian and emergency management network partner of OCHA and UNDAC,
